Funding, Donations, and the 2% Mechanism

Challenge and audience

Effective support requires a clear link between resources and their use. A contribution may cover learning, equipment, translation, accessibility or a defined part of delivery. Explaining purpose, budget and outputs matters as much as receiving support.

Transparent non-profit funding and statutory tax redirection mechanisms without hidden obligations.

The Foundation’s independent role

Possible foundation role: review eligibility for 2% tax designation after current registry confirmation.

We can steward resources accepted for a defined project under documented financial controls, with the responsible legal entity, decision-maker and reporting duties identified before funds are used.

An illustrative route

An illustrative learning package might need translation, equipment and teaching time. The Foundation can connect a clear budget to deliverables for each resource. A supporter funds the agreed use without taking over professional programme decisions. Reporting distinguishes receipt and spending from educational impact.

Financial reporting, donor documentation and review of 2% designation eligibility.

Delivery and starting conditions

Direct Delivery

Use of Moldova’s 2% taxpayer-designation mechanism depends on the Foundation’s inclusion in the current beneficiary list published by the Public Services Agency (ASP) and the conditions applicable to that designation. Other funding projects have their own requirements.

Where the Bridge may help

In a suitable cross-border co-funded project, the Bridge may help track milestones, handovers and responsibility for allocated funds; it does not itself verify expenditure or confer financial authority.
