Clear Enquiries, Proportionate Information
We aim for decisions, resources and results to be clear and traceable at a proportionate level.
Accountability in practice
For us, transparency means making the decision, resources and result of each project clear at a proportionate level. Before work starts, its purpose, lead, budget and acceptance criteria should be recorded. At completion, what happened is reported separately from hoped-for future effects. This approach does not itself assert that an approved policy or live reporting system already exists.
Resources and conflicts
Financial and in-kind support should be linked to a defined use. If a decision-maker has a relevant relationship with a supporter, provider or recipient, the potential conflict should be reviewed before the decision and the route recorded. Publication detail, document access and retention depend on the project arrangements and applicable obligations.
Safeguarding people and data
Work involving children, health or migration status calls for particular care. Personal data should be collected only as needed for a defined purpose, access limited and a route to qualified specialists identified. A person’s image, account or name should not enter a public report without an appropriate basis and publication permission.
Results and feedback
Reporting a deliverable, such as a workshop or a publication, differs from demonstrating lasting change. Feedback from participants and partners can improve a programme and needs a suitable review route. A verifiable claim will link to the shared G1 reference only with real evidence and identifiers; that connection is not active in this version.
